Over the Rainbow
2006-09-27
《绿野仙踪》(The Wizard Of Oz)插曲
Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Someday I wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles smelled like lemon drops
Way above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little blue birds fly beyong the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I ?

Le Papillon~
2006-09-14

Hey Jude--lyric
2006-03-25
Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
Hey Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better
And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain
Don&apost carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Na Na Na Na Na Na-Na-Na-Na-Na
Hey Jude, don't let me down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder
Na Na Na Na Na Na-Na-Na-Na-Na
Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her under your skin,
Then you'll begin to make it
Better better better better better better, YEAH.
Na na na, na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey Jude...
Na na na, na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey Jude...
Na na na, na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey Jude...
Na na na, na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey Jude... -
Silent night
2005-12-20
Silent Night
Silent night, holy night!
All is calm, all is bright.
Round you Virgin, Mother and Child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia,
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born.
Silent night, holy night!
Son of God love&aposs pure light.
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth.
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth. -
Importance of Proper Respiration
2005-12-01
1. How to Prepare the Vocal Apparatus (器官).
Proper breathing prepares the vocal mechanism for sing.
Prespitation(呼吸) opens the vocal bands(声带), and deep breathing widen the throat, lowers the larynx(喉), and lifts the soft palate(上腭).
The ability to negotiate(处理;解决) long phrases(乐句) is the last, if not least, reason to practice good breathing.
Western breathing exercises train the pharyngeal(咽的) muscles to expand and hold the area as wide as possible.
The pharyngeal position should creat the large space necessary for a rich tone.
2. How to Lower the Larynx.
The larynx should be encouraged to lower through indirect means.
Deep breathing is the proper method of lowering th larynx.
When the sternum(胸骨) is raised forward and the ribcage(胸腔) expanded, the larynx is lowered without tongue, throat, or jaw tensions because of the sternthyroid(胸甲状腺软骨) muscles which are attached to the sternum and the bottom of the larynx.
If the sternum stays out and the ribcagestays expanded, the larynx will stay low even when singing an ascending scale.
The breathing muscles must be strengthened over a long period of time to hold the larynx down.
Only after extended vocal study and practice can the student expect to hold the larynx in a good singing position indefinitely, but the result is worth the effort.
3. How to Raise the Soft Palate.
The velum(软腭), or soft palate, may be seen at the back of the throat and may be identified by the uvula(小舌) hanging from it.
Some experts prefer not to call undue attention to the soft palate because it may lead to stiffness(僵硬) in that area which is not good.
About Nose or Mouth Breathing. Teachers always tell students to breath through the nose during long rests or while moving accross the stage because the nose is particularly equipped to strain(过滤) foreign matter from the air and to warm it.
During short rests and between phrases, the student should breath through the mouth because it is more efficient in drawing in a great deal of air in a short time, and it helps to prepare the vocal instrument.
We should caution ourselves about constantly breathing through the mouth, as it has a tendency to dry the velum and phargnx.
4. How to Widen the Throat.
Deep breathing allows the throat to widen as the larynx lowers and the velum rises.
This is an automatic reaction, as may be seen in a yawn(打哈欠) or sigh.
The singer&aposs task is to keep the throat open while singing.
The natural tendency is for the throat to close or relax during exhalation(呼气), so that open-throated singing is really an artificially imposed procedure.
In a way the throat may be the most important resonator(共鸣器), if it is not open, there is nothing the mouth or nose can do to overcome the resultant shallowness of tone.
It is found that when the throat stays open the singer may at first have a sensation of"hootiness(像汽车喇叭的声音)"or muffled(使声音含糊) quality.
This new sound may be hard for a student to accept, so teacher could assure him or her again and again that it only sound muffled on the inside.
A tape recorder is often used to show the actual quality on the outside. The sensation of hootiness generally pass quickly as the student gets used to the new feeling of an expanded pharynx(咽).
5.Tongue Forward.
Most teachers agree that the back of the tonguw should be forward so the epiglottis(会厌) will not intrude(侵扰) in the laryngopharynx(下咽部).
The sigh-either voiced or voiceless- seems to work.
During a sigh the throat stays open and the tongue relaxed. And the voiced sigh is a good example of phonation(发声) with an open throat.

Memory--lyric

Elaine Paige - MemoryMidnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moanMemory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
Life was beautiful then
I remember
The time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live againEvery street lamp
Seems to beat
A fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And a street lamp gutters
And soon it will be morningDaylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I mustn&apost give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will beginBurnt out ends of smoky days
The stale cold smell of morning
The street lamp dies
Another night is over
Another day is dawningTouch me
It&aposs so easy to leave me
All alone with my memory
Of my days in the sun
If you touch me
You&aposll understand what happiness is
Look a new day has begun ...
